The Statistics for Poverty on Long Island are Staggering.

The Lend A Hand Project is a unique organization that develops one-on-one relationships with thousands of people in our area that need help and have nowhere to turn. It’s not just about providing financial help; it’s about making a connection to a caring community that helps to lift them out of their cycle of despair, defraying the expenses and lightening the burdens of daily life in a way that provides for dignity and personal choice.

Make a positive impact on someone’s life with LAHP acts of kindness and support. The Lend a Hand Project accepts monetary donations toward our mission of helping enhance the lives of vulnerable individuals and families on Long Island. Meet The Lend A Hand Project

The Lend A Hand Project was founded as a grassroots movement of like-minded, mission driven individuals seeking to make a difference in the lives of Long Island’s most vulnerable individuals and families. That sentiment lives on through the collaborations between our passionate staff, tireless Board of Directors, philanthropic donors and community partners. We hope you will consider joining us as we continue to scale our operations.
